1. General information

1.1 Symbols used
This document is an integral part of the appliance, intended for the installer
and the end user. After the system installation and commissioning make sure
it is delivered to the end user or the system manager. It must be carefully
stored and ALWAYS accompany the appliance, even in case the latter is
passed on to a new owner or user or transferred onto another system. In
case of damage or loss, request another copy from the Manufacturer.
In compliance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) as well as
with the regulations No. 812/2013 and No. 814/2013 issued
by Directive 2009/125/EC (ErP - Ecodesign Requirements
for Energy-related Products) and by Directive 2010/30/EC (Energy
labelling of products), the technical and heat loss specifications
together with the energy categories are written on the labels/
technical sheets attached to product. These labels/technical sheets
must be considered as an integral part of these instructions for use.

1.2 Recommendations

After removing the packaging, check that the content is intact and
complete. Should it not correspond to the order, contact the Company
that sold the appliance.
The product must be installed by an authorised company
pursuant to Law no. 46 of 5 March 1990 and subsequent
amendments and additions (Ministerial Decree no. 37 of 22
January 2008) that, at the end of the work, provides the owner with a
declaration of conformity for installation carried out in accordance
with professional practice, namely in compliance with current
Regulations and indications included in this booklet.
The Manufacturer is exempted from any contractual or non-contractual
liability for damage caused to persons, animals or property due to
any error occurred during installation, adjustment and maintenance
operations or to improper uses.
Repair or maintenance works must be carried out by
authorised or qualified personnel in accordance with the
provisions of this booklet, otherwise any form of warranty
and certification of compliance with Standards will decay. Do not
modify nor tamper with the appliance since this may lead to
dangerous situations and exempt the appliance's manufacturer
from liability for any resulting damage.

CAUTION! In case of abnormal noise or unusual smell or
fault and/or multifunction, switch the appliance off and do
not try to repair it, but contact authorised or qualified
personnel.
If the water heater is not used for a prolonged period, it is
recommended to:
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply or isolate it by
setting the suitable switch, if any, to "OFF"
- Close the domestic water system taps;
- Empty the tank, if it is installed in a room subject to frost. This
operation must be carried out by authorised or qualified personnel
in accordance with the provisions of this booklet.
CAUTION! The temperature of the hot water delivered
from the appliance could exceed 50 °C, thus posing the
risk of burns for users. Children, the elderly and disabled
are more exposed to this risk, therefore it is recommended to use a
thermostatic mixing valve to be screwed to the appliance's water
outlet pipe.
Please remember that using products that consume electricity and water
implies the observance of some essential safety rules, such as:
IT IS FORBIDDEN:
- for children and the incapacitated who do not have any knowledge
on the use of the appliance, to use it without supervision or
proper training by the personnel in charge of their safety. This
appliance is intended to be used by expert or trained users in
shops, light industries and farms, or for commercial use by non-
expert persons.
- to touch the appliance with bare feet and wet or damp body parts.
- to carry out any maintenance or cleaning operation before
disconnecting the appliance from the mains by setting the
system's main switch to "off".
- to carry out maintenance or cleaning operations while standing
on unstable supports (ladders, chairs, etc.)
- to modify safety or adjustment devices without the authorisation
and indications by the appliance's manufacturer.
- to pull, disconnect, twist the electric cables protruding from the
appliance, even if the latter is disconnected from the power supply.
- to remove the appliance from its installation place
- to position and install any equipment under the water heater.
- to remove labels or indications from the product.
- to step on the appliance, seat on it and/or place on it any type of object.
- to drink the appliance's condensate water
- to spray or pour water directly on the appliance and use
aggressive products and solvents to clean it
- to access the appliance's internal parts without first having
disconnected it from the power supply or set the system's main
switch to "off"
- to disperse and leave the packaging material into the environment,
or place it within the reach of children, since it can be a potential
source of danger.
