• Be careful with the steam. Do not direct it at people, animals or delicate
objects.
• Always iron on stable, firm and smooth surfaces.
• For very delicate garments, a small cloth can be placed between the iron
and the delicate garment to prevent possible marks by the soleplate.
Advice for use
1 Fully extend the cord and plug it into the mains. The heating indicator
light will illuminate (10). Place the iron in the vertical position.
2 Place the temperature selector (9) in the desired position, and wait a few
minutes for the iron to reach the selected temperature (the heating
indicator light will turn off).
3 Grab the iron by the handle, and slide the soleplate over the garment to
be ironed.
Don't be concerned if the iron emits a little smoke when used for the first
time. This will go away quickly.

Temperature selection

• Check to see if the garment to be ironed has any label that indicates the
ironing temperature.
We recommend that you classify garments according to the required
ironing temperature and that you begin with garments that are ironed at
the lowest temperature (•).
Ironing delicate garments at a temperature higher than necessary can
ruin the fabric and cause burnt residue to stick to the soleplate.
SYNTHETIC FIBRES: minimum temperature (•).
SILK, WOOL: medium temperature (••).
COTTON: high temperature (•••).
LINEN: MAX temperature.
• If you have any doubts about the temperature to use on a certain
garment, test the iron on a non-visible part, starting at the lowest
temperatures.
Whenever you change the position of the temperature selector (9), either
to increase or decrease the temperature, you must wait a few minutes
for the iron to reach the selected temperature.
