POSITIONING AND INSTALLATION
All machine installations and settings must be carried out by authorised technical staff only.
Spinel S.r.l. is not liable for damages to the machine due to improper installation of the same,
incompetence or negligence of the personnel responsible.
Make sure that power voltage and frequency match with the machines data shown on the machine
plate.
The equipotential protection circuit must be checked at least once a year.
It is necessary to install a proper overcurrent protection device on top of the power supply cord.
The following automatic protection switches are recommended:
JASMINE 1CAPS 1L
JASMINE 2CAPS 2L
JASMINE 3CAPS 2L
JASMINE 3CAPS 5L
After checking that the machine is complete, place it on a stable and perfectly horizontal surface in
order to allow enough space for carrying out all operations easily and safely (topping up water,
connecting to power supply socket, fitting the capsule, cleaning and maintenance).
Before the first brewing, it is recommended to rinse the water tank removing it from its location
and pulling out the pipes. Next, fill it up with water and reposition it inside the machine, taking
care to inserting the pipes back into the tank without obstructions or folding.
In order to avoid water leaking during transport, the steam group is delivered with empty boiler.
SWITCHES AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
Main machine switch (L): this is on the bottom left side on the front of the machine. When
pressed, it supplies power to the machine.
Coffee groups general switch (ON/OFF) (D): this is on the front and on the right side of every
coffee delivery group. When the switch is moved to ON, this switches on the coffee group. Each
General Coffee switch has a Coffee Group Light (R) linked to it; if the Coffee Group Light (R) is
off, the coffee group is ready for delivery; if it is on, the temperature is not optimum and it is
preferable to wait a few seconds until the light switches off before the next delivery.
Coffee brewing switch (B) - version without volumetric dosing, picture n.1: this is next to the
Coffee Group Light (R); pressing it will deliver the coffee; pressing it again will stop the delivery.
