Cables should be fitted with safety plugs
for external use. Frequently check the plugs
and the extension cable and replace them if

damaged.
MOTOR START
- Before starting the motor, make certain the
P
power socket incorporates a residual current
device with a tripping current not greater than
30 mA.
GR
- After connecting the plug to the mains, place
the electric saw on the ground so that the
chain is clear of any obstructions which could
prevent it from regularly sliding.
TR
- Hold the handles firmly and first press the
safety button (A, Fig.16), then the on/off
switch (B).

WARNING - In order for the chain to turn,
the accelerator lever must be pressed!
After several minutes of use / cutting, the chain
tension must be rechecked:
• Stop the motor and disconnect the plug from
the mains socket;
• Let the chain cool for several minutes;
• Recheck the chain tension (see page 26 –
Chain tensioning)
• Repeat this process until the chain retains
proper tension.
WARNING - Never touch the chain while
the motor is running. Do not touch the
ground with the chain.
WARNING - The electric saw will not
work when the brake lever is activated
(C, Fig. 4).
6. STOPPING THE ENGINE
Releasing the switch (B, Fig. 16) will immediately
shut down the chain, while the motor will stop
running due to inertia.
Do not put the electric saw on the
ground when the chain is still moving.
7. USE
SAFETY DEVICES
The electric saw is equipped with two separate
safety systems.
START SWITCH
When the start switch (B, Fig. 16) is completely
released, the chain stops immediately (for
maximum operator safety), while the motor
stops due to inertia.
CHAIN BRAKE
The chain brake ensures maximum safety in
using the electric saw. It protects the operator
from dangerous kickback which can occur
