12. Place the Filter Cartridge
slips over the Volute Housing Inlet (see Fig. 2) and seals at the bottom of the canister so that the Skimmer Strainer Basket
inside the canister. See Fig. 4
13. Place the Lock Top on top of the Filter Pump Skimmer Canister
14. Push the Weir Foam Pad

NOTE: The weir can ONLY be pushed into the grooves as shown
by Arrows #1 in Fig. 4, by holding it horizontal. Be sure the weir
moves freely through the opening, if not carefully trim away any
obstructing material to allow the weir to move freely. Once the weir
is pushed inside the grooves, flip it over as shown by the Arrow #2
in Fig. 4, to lock it in place.
15. Fill the pool with water. Continue filling the pool until the water has
reached the proper level. The water level should be between the min
and max markers (see Fig. 4) located on the faceplate inside the pool
at the skimmer opening.
16. Adjust the return fitting diverter for proper water circulation.
17. Plug in the GFCI power cord and enjoy your pool.
1. Plug the GFCI power cord to a properly grounded receptacle. It is recommended that the outlet is at least 15 feet (4.5m)
away from the pool.
2. IMPORTANT: To start the filter pump, press the RESET button on the GFCI plug.

Check the return fitting on the inside of the pool for correct flow, it should feel like a solid stream of water returning to the
pool.
You can use the return flow as a gauge to determine when the filter needs cleaning or replacement. If you feel a
reduction in flow, clean or replace filter.
Test water and adjust chemicals as needed, read Page 12 - "POOL WATER CARE".

PROPER CHLORINE AND pH LEVELS AT ALL TIMES!
The filter cartridge may need to be cleaned and/or replaced several times at start up until the correct chlorine and pH levels

6. IMPORTANT: To turn off the filter pump, press the test button and unplug the GFCI power cord.
IMPORTANT! Your filter pump is protected by a thermal switch. The switch senses the temperature of the filter pump. If it gets too hot, the switch will
stop the pump from running until it cools off. To restart the pump press the reset button on the GFCI when the filter pump has cooled down. This is a
safety device to prevent pump damage and prolong service life. If your pump is automatically turning off, it is because of high pool water
temperature and/or low water flow through the pump. If this happens you need to check the water flow and correct it if needed, as this filter pump
uses the water flow for cooling. You may also want to run the pump at night when the temperature is lower.
