First startup

The regulator is factory-set as a Basic System.
To change to another type of System, it is possible to manually modify the parameter defi ned System setting
(Installer parameter, default equal to 0=Basic System) or make use of Auto-confi guration.

System auto-confi guration
System 1 (Modulating circulating pump and calculation)
If the card is confi gured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default equal to 0), just disconnect the power supply
and connect Solar Collector Return NTC Sensor S4 to the respective terminals: on restoring the power, the card
is automatically confi gured as System 1. From then on, interrupting Solar Collector Return NTC Sensor S4 will
generate fault 84 and, even on disconnecting the power, the card will remain confi gured as System 1.
System 2 (No modulating circulating pump, No calculation, with supplementary heating/elimination of excess heat)
If the card is confi gured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default equal to 0), just disconnect the power supply
and connect Upper Hot Water Tank PT1000 Sensor S1 to the respective terminals: on restoring the power, the
card is automatically confi gured as System 2. From then on, interrupting Upper Hot Water Tank PT1000 Sensor
S1 will generate fault 81 and, even on disconnecting the power, the card will remain confi gured as System 2.
System 3 (Modulating circulating pump, Calculation and supplementary heating/Elimination of excess heat)
If the card is confi gured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default equal to 0), just disconnect the power
supply and connect Solar Collector Return NTC Sensor S4 and Upper Hot Water Tank PT1000 Sensor S1 to
the respective terminals: on restoring the power, the card is automatically confi gured as System 3. From then
on, interrupting Solar Collector Return NTC Sensor S4 will generate fault 84, interrupting Upper Hot Water Tank
PT1000 Sensor S1 will generate fault 81 and, even on disconnecting the power, the card will remain confi gured
as System 3.
System 4 (No Modulating circulating pump, Calculation, No supplementary heating/No elimination of excess heat)
Automatic confi guration for System 4 is not provided for.
