Assemble saw blade
The saw blade has two grooves (1) on one
side. These grooves form the guide for the
guide rollers. Mount the saw blade so that
the V-shaped edge engages the drive
wheel [19] and the two embossments of the
guide roller (2) fit into the grooves of the
saw blade.
If necessary, the position of the guide
rollers can be adjusted by turning the
adjusting knobs [10].
Turn the T-knob so that the support rollers
[17] get light contact with the saw blade.
The support rollers must be adjusted in
such a way that they can be stopped with
the thumb when the saw blade is turned by hand. The support rollers should only run with the saw
blade from time to time.
Firmly tighten the adjusting knobs to the stop on the housing. A seal on the housing prevents water
from penetrating into the guide rollers when the adjusting knob is tightened.
If the adjusting knobs are not tightened as far as the stop, water can penetrate into the
guide roller and cause damage.
Tighten hexagon head screw [14]. Turn the saw blade again and check whether the support rollers
can be stopped by hand. If this is not the case, the support rollers must be adjusted again.
If the support rollers are applied too strongly to the saw blade, damage to the saw
blade and the ring saw can occur.
Check whether the saw blade can be easily turned by hand and that the saw blade is guided correct
in the guide rollers.

Assembly cover
Attach the cover [16] to the gear box housing by tightening the wing screws [13] by hand.
The cover serves as protection against rotating parts as well as splash protection. The
ring saw must not be operated without the cover, otherwise it can lead to personal
injury and property damage

Change the position of the adjustable handle
In order to change the position of the adjustable handle [3] open the cam lever [8] in a horizontal
position. Adjust the handle in the requested position. Take care that the handle is catched in the
requested position and close the cam lever in a vertical position.

ATTENTION: Always remove the mains plug from the supply socket before starting
maintenance or repair!
Clean the machine once the sawing work has been completed.
You can sprinkle the machine carefully with a soft jet of water.
Never use a high pressure cleaner or even a steam cleaner.
In order to clean the rollers after completion of the work, the diamond ring saw must be operated at
idle speed with maximum water flow for at least 10-20 sec.
After work, we recommend to clean and spray the rollers, drive wheel and saw blade with oil. This
prevents corrosion and reduces the accumulation of sludge on the components.
Damaged cords and plugs have to be repaired or exchanged exclusively in an authorized repair
station (www.weka-elektrowerkzeuge.de).
The gear oil should always be changed after 50 operating hours at the latest.
