The thermometer incorporates visual low battery indication as follows:

CAUTION: Since the thermometer is
splash proof, please make sure the battery
cover and rubber stopper are on tight.

1. Please pick out the rubber stopper on the battery cover by carefully using a small, pointed tool, such
as a screwdriver. Then remove the screw that is under the rubber stopper.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Replace the 2 AAA 1.5V batteries.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
5. Replace the screw and the rubber stopper.
When the 'Low Battery' icon indicates the battery is low, the batteries should be replaced immediately.
Please note: It is important to turn the instrument off before replacing the batteries, otherwise the
thermometer may malfunction. Dispose of used batteries properly and keep away from children. Do not
dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.
