WARNING!
Burn hazard!
The soleplate will get very hot and hot steam will be emitted
during operation!
− Always let the steam iron cool off completely before cleaning.
− Do not lean over the steam iron while hot steam is rising.
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a short circuit.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
− Never immerse the steam iron in water.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you use unsuitable cleaning agents or utensils, you may
damage the surface of the steam iron.
− Do not use any aggressive abrasive, solvent-based, acid-
based or chlorine-based cleaners.
− Do not use any brushes with metal or nylon bristles, sharp
or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers
or similar.
General cleaning
1. Unplug the steam iron from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Let the steam iron cool off completely.
3. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe off the steam iron. Then let all parts dry
completely.
4. If you do not use the steam iron for a prolonged period, store it in the
original packaging to protect it against dust.
