• To recharge the battery or to work with the appliance plugged
into the mains, always use the adapter provided. Do not use any
other type of adapter.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• VERY IMPORTANT: The appliance and the adapter must
never be immersed in water or any other liquids.
•
Do not use this appliance near the water contained in
bathtubs, washbasins or other containers.
• When used in a bathroom, disconnect after use. The proximity of
water represents a danger even when the appliance is off.
• To ensure a complementary protection it is advisable to install
in the electrical circuit of the bathroom a residual differential
current device (DDR) of differential current of assigned capacity
that does not exceed 30 mA. Ask your supplier for advice.
• The adapter must always be used indoors. Do not use in the open
air.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an
Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• The unit may be used while connected to the mains with the adapter or else autonomously (without connecting
to the mains).
Use with the cable
• Keeping the switch (2) on O position (Off ), connect the adapter plug on the base (4) situated on the lower part
of the appliance and the adapter (5) to the mains. Slide the switch to the 1 or 2 positions so it starts to work. Wait
one or two minutes if does not work when they are plugged in.
• While the unit is connected to the mains, the charge indicator light (3) will remain on if the unit is on or off.
• Being the unit on, the battery will not charge.
Autonomous use, cordless. Charging the battery.
• Before using it for the first time it is necessary to charge the battery.
• To do so keep the switch (2) on O position (Off ), connect the adapter terminal to the base (4) and the adapter
(5) to the mains.
• The pilot light (3) will go on, which means the appliance is charging.
• The first charge of the battery will take 16 hours.
• Afterwards it's enough to let it charge overnight.
• In order to optimise the durability of the battery bear in mind the following pieces of advice:
- Never exceed the indicated loading times for the battery.
- It is important to discharge the unit before it is recharged, leave it on until it stops or the power decreases
clearly.
