BRAKE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
(140 - Fig. 9)
Place the engine on a stable support.
1) Unscrew the wheel fi xing screws (1).
2) Unscrew the fi xing screws (2) of the axie
shaft support; fi x the brake shoe half supports
(4) by using the long screws (13).
N.B.: To avoid oil leaks, it is best to unscrew
the 2 screws, assemble the half-support,
tighten the 2 screws and then repeat the same
operation for the other half-support.
3) Insert the brake shoes (7) on the appropriate
half-support pins.
When assembling, make sure that the brake
shoe springs are in correspondence with the
axle shaft undercuts.
4) Assemble the brake drum (8) and wheel
by means of fi xing screws (1).
5) After having removed the handlebar grip,
insert lever (9) and lock it in its position by
using screw (10).
6) Screw adjuster (11) on lever (9).
7) Insert the wire on the brake lever (9) and
on the brake shoe lever control (3).
8) Adjust the lever clearance to 8 mm. by
operating on wire clamp (12) and on adjuster
(11).
9) Reassemble the grip.

CONTROLS OPERATION (140L)
Cutter Bar inclination control lever
The cutter bar is set free when using the lever (2)
and thus allowing the bar itself to travel over 90°
(Fig. 9/A). After having chosen the most suitable
working position, release the lever.
Assembly and disassembly of Cutter Bar
and accessories (Fig. 9/A)
The Mowers are equipped with a Quickfit
coupling which allows a quick and easy
connection of the implements. With engine at
stand-still and machine in horizontal position,
pull the latch (1) and block it in open position by
turning 90°. Remove the machine from the Cutter
Bar or other connected implement. Once the
Cutter Bar or an implement has been connected,
turn the latch (1) until it locks into closing position.
