When not in use, keep the handset on its charging base (set the handset switch to ON)
and extend the antenna.
When the Call button is pressed on the roadside panel the handset will ring for
approximately 40 seconds.
At the same time, a tone will sound on the roadside panel to confirm that the call has
been sent (whether the handset is set to OFF or ON). Both the chime and the tone stop
after 40 seconds and the electronic box enters standby mode.
To talk, press the Answer button
The green LED will stay on during the conversation.
The system will time out after 60 seconds. To extend this time for an additional 60
seconds, press the Answer button again
The handset will beep 20 seconds before the call times out. Either extend the call or
press "STOP" to end it.
The call will automatically time out 20 seconds after the beep if it is not extended.
If you place the handset back on its charging base without ending a call, the handset
will beep three times to remind you. Press "STOP"to turn it off and prevent any
conversations inside being heard outside through the roadside panel. If communica-
tion with the roadside panel is lost, press the "STOP" STOP button for two seconds to
turn off the handset or turn the handset switch to OFF then ON to receive subsequent
calls.

If used with an electric strike plate (or electric lock) :
The electric strike plate can be opened only when communicating with a caller (at
any time with converter WEADSF 10003). To open it, press the
Important : the call will be cut off and a tone will sound on the roadside panel when
the strike plate opens.
Note : the strike plate or lock must be equipped with a mechanical memory in order
for the door/gate to be opened.

If used with an automatic opener activated by the closing of a contact:
An automatic gate opener may be operated via remote control if converter WEADSF
10003 is used and provided it is equipped with a dry contact (24 V - 0.5 A). Simply
press the
button for at least two seconds. The automatic gate may be opened
and closed at any time (page 15).
Reminder : to receive calls on the handset, the " I" switch must be set to ON and lthe hand-
set battery must be charged (see also the Coding and Frequencies section).
The handset will not ring if switch " I" is set to OFF. However, callers will hear the usual
40-second tone then the electronic box will automatically enter standby mode.
The handset has a free-field range of up to approximately 500 metres. This range may
be considerably reduced by certain environmental factors (nearby radio interference,
etc.)
