Catcher Tube Installation

catcher cover (B).
2. Slide the lower end of the catcher tube (C, Figure 7) over the
end of the catcher boot (D).
3. Rotate the catcher tube towards the mower to secure the
handle base (E, Figure 7) under the tube latch (F).
4. Place the debris shield (G, Figure 8) under the catcher tube
(H) with the offset hole pattern towards the center of the rider
as shown.
NOTE: If there are no holes in the dust skirt for mounting the
debris shield, CAREFULLY punch two holes to accommo-

5. Insert the two 1/4 x 1-1/2" hex bolts (I, Figure 9) through the
1/4" flat washers (J), debris shield (K), dust skirt, and catch-

NOTE: The debris shield needs to be positioned close
enough to the catcher tube to prevent any gap between the
tube and shield, but without squeezing the catcher tube.
6. Secure the debris shield with the tapered lock nuts (L, Figure
9).
NOTE: The catcher tube must slide freely between the
catcher cover and debris shield. If the tube does not slide
freely, loosen the hardware and adjust the debris shield.

place.
Front Frame Weight Installation
1. Secure the three front frame weights (A, Figure 11) to the
front of the rider with two 3/8-16 x 1-3/4" hex bolts (B), heavy
duty washers (C), split lock washers (D) and hex nuts (E).
Tighten hardware to 30 lb-ft (40,8 Nm).
Blazde Air Lift Installation
WARNING: Cutting blades are sharp and can cause
serious injury. Wear heavy leather gloves when working with
and around cutting blades.
1. Install the two air lifts (A, Figure 12) onto the blade tips (B)
as shown, securing each with three 5/16-24 machine screws
(C), internal lock washers (D) and nuts (E). Tighten the
hardware to 25 lb-ft (34 Nm). Once all hardware is installed,
retighten to noted torque.
