POSITIONING
The device detects the room tempera-
ture, therefore several factors should be
taken into account when choosing an in-
stallation site.
Install the device far from sources of
heat (radiators, sunlight, fi replaces, etc.)
and draughts or doorways and windows,
which could affect the temperature
readings.
It should be installed approximately 1.50
metres above the fl oor level.
WARNING
Installation should be performed by a
qualifi ed technician.
Prior to connecting the thermostat to the
boiler, cut off the power to the boiler.
When drilling the wall to install the de-
vice, be careful not to damage any elec-
trical wires or existing piping.
INSTALLATION
- Separate the base from the thermostat
by loosening the screw on the top part
(Fig. A).
- Fix the thermostat base to the wall in
the chosen position, using the screws
supplied with the kit (Fig. B).
- Insert the wires in the appropriate slot
and connect them to terminals 3 and 1
(Fig. C).
