A. Introduction
The vehicle is equipped with a system that
facilitates parking manoeuvres by detecting
obstacles that could damage the front bumper
of the vehicle.
PDC will be activated automatically after engine
starting and signalled by the switching on of
LED (1) in the operating push button (2) located
near the dashboard.
The detected obstacle will be indicated by an
intermittent acoustic signal, that increases in
frequency until it becomes a continuous signal
as the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle.
If the PDC does not detect any obstacle, it
switches OFF automatically 40 s later.

Constant tone area: This is the area closest
to the bumper. The PDC detects obstacles
and emits a constant tone, when the vehicle
is stopped and when moving.
Beep
Static area: This is the intermediate area.
PDC sounds an intermittent beeping, when the
vehicle is stopped and when moving.
No detection area: PDC does not beep.
NOTICE
In the event of sensor malfunction, the
PDC constantly emits a tone made
up of long beeps followed by a short
pause.
NOTICE
Familiarise yourself with the system
installed on your vehicle.
NOTICE
If the sensors are too close to the
obstacle, the PDC may fail to emit any
beeps.
