4 - CONNECTIONS / ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAMS
GENERAL
GB
• Remove the side panel so as to facilitate access to the connections.
4.1 - HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
4.1.1 - GENERAL
• Water inlet and outlets by 1/2" male connections with gas thread.
• For cold water use, a motor-operated valve must be installed, otherwise
there is a risk of condensate if the unit shuts down due to a thermostat
disconnection.
On option: Set of 2 insulated fl exible tubes equipped with a 1/2" female
connection with gas thread and a 1/2" male connection with gas thread,
installation side.
Two lengths are available: 70600060
4.1.2 - INSULATION OF PIPES
• The insulation concerns the water return and inlet pipes.
• Use polyethylene sheathing at least 9 mm thick.
• Once connections have been made, check for leaks, install the insulating sleeves supplied
with the unit onto the intake and outlet connections to avoid condensation.
NOTE: This operation must be done carefully to avoid any risk of condensation.
4.1.3 - PURGING THE AIR HANDLER'S WATER CIRCUIT
• This is done by unscrewing a drain plug located on the exchanger collecting receptacle.
• Access: via the air outlet by using a tool.
4.2 - CONNECTING THE CONDENSATE DISCHARGE PIPE
(For air handlers which can operate in cooling mode)
• Connect the condensate pipe to a discharge pipe.
• Use a fl exible tube of internal diameter 18 mm to be fi xed on the condensate tube's end piece.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• Make sure that the slope is correct for proper condensate evacuation.
• Check that condensate drainage is correct and smooth. To do this, use a bottle to pour water into the condensate recovery
tray.
4.3 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
4.3.1 - GENERALS
• The electrical connection conduits must be fi xed.
• Class 1 unit.
• The electrical installation must be carried out in compliance
with the rules in force (especially NFC 15-100
364).
4.3.2 - DETAIL OF THE CONNECTION
• To have access to the terminal board:
- remove the front suction grille and remove the electrical
box cover (1 screw).
• Prepare the electrical wiring (strip length: 5mm), pass
the cable through the various openings and cable clamps
provided and connect the wires to the terminal strip.
Follow the indications below to connect them:
- These terminals take rigid wires.
- A single conductor per securing point.
- Make sure that the wires are correctly connected to the terminal board. Incorrect connection can cause operating problems
as well as overheating which can cause fi res.
4.3.3 - POWER SUPPLY
• 230V / 1+Earth / 50Hz power supply from a power supply and protection device (not included) in accordance with with the
rules in force especially NFC 15-100 (
• The voltage variation tolerance is ± 10 % during operation.
• Max. protection rating: 6 A.
• Max. current consumption: 0,23 A.
• Section of power cable: 1.5 mm
• Connections are made on the unit's terminal strip (terminals L, N and ground).
