FOR THE FIRST TIME
This procedure is required when the system is started up for the first time and each
time that interventions involving emptying out the pool are performed.
1 - MAKE SURE THAT THE FILTER IS CLEAN
If this is not the case, see "Cleaning the Filters".
To be balanced, the water must be maintained within the following parameters:
- pH must be 7.2-7.6.
- Total alkalinity must be 60-120 ppm.
When filling the pool and system for the first time, take care to correct the water pH
value before carrying out any other procedure. Proceed to measure the pH using the kit
supplied. Correct the pH value if required, making sure to dissolve 100 g of pH-minus
every 1000 liters of water. Consider the amount of water inside the system by referring
to the related documentation to obtain a value which is as close as possible to the ideal
one, which is pH = 7.
Proceed to measure the pH using the kit supplied; if necessary, correct the value so that
it's included in the above mentioned range. In case of an excessive dose of pH regulator,
add mains waterto dilute its concentration.
3 - ADD SALT TO THE WATER
The amount of salt to be added to achieve the correct saline level in the water is
approximately 4 kg for every m 3 water (1m 3 = 1000 l).
4 - POWER UP THE SYSTEM
Switch on the control panel by setting the main
switch to "ON".
5 - START THE RECIRCULATION PUMP
Before starting the operating cycle, switch off the water treatment kit power supply and
switch the recirculation pump on for 24 hours, in order to make sure the salt dissolves
completely.
