Setup of video receiver
Insert the cable of the power supply into "DC 6V" socket located on the
underside of the charger base. Plug the power supply into a 230 V mains
socket. Place the receiver into the charger base. Before initial ope-
ration, you should fully charge the receiver for about 15 hours. It is
adviseable to place the receiver regularly into the charger base in or-
der to charge the power pack and therefore establish interruption-free
operation.
Setup of door monitor
There are two possibilities of feeding power to the door monitor:
1st possibility: With six type AA batteries
2nd possibility: The door monitor can be directly supplied with power
via the doorbell wire of your house (+12V DC).
Inserting the batteries into the door monitor
Remove the securing screw and take the battery casing off the back of
the door monitor. Insert six batteries (type AA, 1,5 V, alkaline) into the
battery compartment. Make sure to match the correct polarity, as incor-
rect orientation might damage the device! When replacing the batte-
ries, always use good quality alkaline batteries, as these can last up to
two years per battery set (depending on frequency of use).
