9. Configuring the Access Point

To configure the Access Point follows these steps:

Connect to the Access Point and find its IP Address as described in "Connecting to the
Access Point".

Launch your computer's web browser. In the address bar, enter your Access Point's IP
Address and press Enter.

At the Access Point Login Screen, type the user name and password and click Log On.
The default username and password are case-sensitive:

Username: admin
•
Password: password

If this is the first time you are logging onto the Access Point you will be prompted to select
the country in which you will be using the device. Choose your country from the menu and
then click Apply.

Next use the Setup Wizard to configure your Access Point. Click Setup Wizard in the menu
on the left side of the screen.

Follow the prompts on the screen. Use the Next and Back buttons to move through the
screens. Click Finish when you are done.
