Preliminary procedures
Check that the coffee bean receptacle (2) is correctly positioned on the
coffee grinder-distributor, lift the lid (1) and fill with coffee beans. Check
that the gate (3) is completely open and push towards the inside.
Switching on
Before switching on the machine, ensure that the mains
!
switch is on.
Turn switch (11) to position 1 to switch on the machine and check
that the indicator light ON (10) is lit.
This machine has an automatic switch-off device that is activated each
time the coffee distributor (6) is sufficiently full of ground coffee. By
leaving the on-off switch (11) on position 1, the coffee grinder-distributor
will automatically start working again when the level of ground coffee
needs to be topped up again.
At the end of the working day, switch off the machine by turning the on-
off switch (11) to position 0. The indicator light (10) is switched off.
Regulating the grind
The machine may be adjusted for different grindings (from fine to course)
via a screw (4) as shown on the graded indicator (18).
If the flow of the coffee from the machine is very slow, this indicates
that the coffee is too finely ground. It will therefore be necessary to
turn the screw (4) anti-clockwise to obtain a coarser grind.
If the flow of the coffee from the machine is very fast, this indicates
that the coffee is too coarsely ground. It will therefore be necessary to
turn the screw (4) clockwise to obtain a finer ground.
Removing the ground coffee
Position the coffee machine filter basket on the bracket (12) and push
it until it comes into contact with the stock (19).
Pull the ground coffee distribution lever (9) towards yourself to obtain a
dose of coffee (one dose corresponds to a cup of coffee) and allow the
lever to return to its initial position automatically.
Turn the filter basket towards the coffee tamper (7) and press the coffee
by pushing the coffee tamper down (7).
