previous wash. In this case, empty the machine before selecting a programme.

Choice of detergent and placement in the machine
The amount of detergent to be used will depend on how soiled the laundry is and the
hardness of the water used; Instructions for use are printed on the packaging of each
detergent.
• Do not select a pre-wash if the laundry is only slightly soiled. Pour a small amount of
detergent (according to the manufacturer's instructions) into compartment II of the
detergent drawer.
• If the laundry is extremely soiled, select a programme with pre-wash and pour ¼ of
the amount of detergent to be used into compartment I of the detergent dispenser
and the rest into compartment II.
• Only use detergents for washer-dryers in the machine.Follow the instructions on the
detergent package to determine the amount of detergent to use for your laundry.
• The harder the water used, the more detergent will be needed.
• The amount of detergent required is proportional to the volume of laundry to be
washed.
• Pour the softener in the designated drawer compartment.Do not exceed the MAX
level, as the fabric softener may spill into the wash water.
• Concentrated fabric softeners must be diluted before being poured into the drawer.
