Diode Measurement
1.- Connect the red test tip to "VΩmA" connector and the black tip
to "COM" connector.
2.- Set the selector in
position.
3.- Connect the red test tip to anode of the diode that yo want to
measure and the black tip in the catode.
4.- If the diode is in good working order, the display will display
0.6V for silicon diodes and 0.3V for germanium diodes. In case of
reversing the test tips the meter will only mark 1.
-hFE- Transitors Measurement
1.- Set the selector in hFE position.
2.- Determines if the transistor is NPN or PNP type, and localize
the emisor, base and collector.
3. Insert the tips into the slots to start the test.
In case of not knowing the configuration of the pins of the
transistor, insert the pins of the transistor until it shows a
data in the screen. The data shown will be the hFE of the
transistor and in that position will be the configuration of the
transistor.
The multimeter will display the approximate value of the hFE in the
base current condition of 10 μA and VCE of 2.8 V
