USE RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS:
The Icon® Stryker Back Armor as described in this manual is a component of the Icon® Stryker Vest. Use of the Stryker Back Armor is strictly limited
to on-road motorcycling and use of the Stryker Vest is also strictly limited to on-road motorcycling. The Stryker Back Armor is designed to offer
limited protection, in specifi c circumstances, only. The Stryker Back Armor is designed as an on-road motorcycling protector only. The Stryker Back
Armor is designed for use, in addition to other personal protective equipment. The addition of The Stryker Back Armor to any other PPE or on-road
motorcycling apparel being worn is not intended to imply that said PPE or on-road motorcycling apparel is also CE approved.
On-road motorcycling is inherently dangerous in nature and use of the Stryker Back Armor cannot prevent injury or death. Icon® strongly suggests
that, whenever engaged in motorcycling and for improved protection, riders always use multiple forms of compatible PPE, including an approved
helmet, a jacket with, at least, approved shoulder and elbow impact protectors, an approved back protector, appropriate pants, approved knee, leg,
and hip impact protectors, gloves, and approved boots.

Below is an explanation of the CE Markings and other markings on the Stryker Back Armor envisaged both by Directive 89/686/EEC and by EN 1621-

Manufacturer's name or logo.
PPE name or internal manufacturing code.
CE marking to indicate that the protector complies with the requirements of Directive
89/686/EEC.
Pictogram indicating that a User Manual (Information Notice) has been provided
for this product.
Back protector specifi c sizing, including the distance between the motorcyclist's waist and shoulder in
centimeters so that the correct back protector can be chosen.
Specifi c symbol to indicate the protector is for motorcycle use only.
Indicates the back protector type
• FB for a full back protector
• CB for a central back protector
• LB for a lower back protector
In accordance with EN 1621-2:2014
