USE
Selecting The Correct Size:
No single size protector can fit all body sizes and types. The sizing system of back protectors is based on the user's waist to shoulder length
(measured on the back from the waist line, which is 5 cm above the highest points of the iliac crests, to the junction of the shoulder to the neck
at the highest point) as no consistent relationship to the body height exists. These dimensions are measured on the body with a tape measure. In
order to ensure you choose the correct size Stryker Back Armor please see the table below:

Protector Position and Fit:
For protectors to offer the maximum protection possible they must be placed on the area to be protected and they must cover the protected area
effectively (see Tables 1 and 3 and Figure 2). To be positioned correctly, the shape of the protectors and the shape of the protected areas have to
fit together well. If the protector is already incorporated into the garment or is fitted to it by stitching or zippers, then to be positioned correctly, the
garment must also be the correct size. The fit of different protector styles varies due to differences in design and construction. Only use protectors
that fit properly.
The Stryker Back Armor is available in several versions (see Table 1, column 3, heading "Stryker Back Armor Version") that vary in the number of
plastic plates that comprise the exterior shell. These versions are designed to accommodate different user "waist to shoulder" lengths.
Warning: Be sure to choose a Stryker Back Armor version that is the correct size based on your waist to shoulder length.
The Stryker Back Armor is also found in more than one Icon® product (see Table 1, column 4, heading "Used in Icon® Product"). In some cases,
there may be more than one size of an Icon® product style that contains Stryker Back Armor that is the correct size for you based on your "waist
to shoulder" length measurement. Some Icon® products that use the Stryker Back Armor have been designed to accommodate different chest
girths only and some have been designed to accommodate different chest girths and different "waist to shoulder" lengths.
Warning: Be sure to choose a product, for which both the Stryker Back Armor and the garment itself fit you correctly.
The Stryker Back Armor must be worn under the rider's clothing to guarantee it remains in place covering the protected area. Be sure that the
Stryker Back Armor and the garment it is integrated into, fit snugly but not too tightly. Confirm that garment movement is minimal. Confirm that
all of the garment adjustment straps have the length necessary to tighten and loosen, assuring correct fit. Confirm that the Stryker Back Armor and
the garment that it is incorporated into do not cause any discomfort and do not reduce the rider's freedom of movement or restrict the reach to, or
operation of, the motorcycle controls while in a normal riding position. If you are unable to properly fit or position this protector, please try another
CE certified back protector style.
Warning: avoid choosing too big of a protector because interference with helmet may occur, resulting in a dangerous riding condition:
Warning: The Stryker Back Armor is not to be used in any products other than those designated by Icon®.
