While the machine is making its first batch of ice cubes
it is recommended that the interior of the storage bin is
cleaned with an appropriate MILD DISINFECTANT
solution. (21)
ATTENTION
If the temperature of the room in which the machine is
placed is below +15°C, the freezing cycle length will be
shorter (17÷20 minutes) than the average one.
Alternatively, if the room temperature is above +30°C,
the freezing cycle length will be longer (25÷30 minutes).

DAILY PRE-CAUTIONS

To prevent the accumulation on the ice cubes of
undesirables bacterias it is necessary to observe the
following indications.
Do not store anything in the ice storage bin. (24)
Keep ice scoop clean and disinfected. (26)
Keep the bin door closed. (25)
During the cleaning of the floor near the machine pay
attention that dust does not get sucked in the unit by the
fan motor. (25)
To avoid damage to the unit:
Never shut-off the water supply with the machine in
operation. (28)
Open and close the bin door with gentle movement,
never slam it or kick it. (28)
Do not place on top and around the ice maker any sort
of goods, which can limit proper ventilation and joepar-
dize hygienic conditions. (47)
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Before proceeding with any cleaning and mainte-
nance operation, make sure that the power line of
the unit is disconnected and water line is closed.

MONTHLY
and/or when some of the ice cubes are improperly
shaped, remove the spray platen from the interior of the
evaporator case. (30)
Thoroughly clean the spray platform by plunging them
into a basin filled with lukewarm water mixed with a de-
scaling solution, then rinse them under a stream of
water tap.
To keep the unit in proper hygienic conditons, MONTH-
LY...
Wipe clean the ice storage bin liner, using a mild deter-
gent solution diluted in lukewarm water. (32)
Rinse it and than thoroughly disinfect its surfaces wip-
ing them with a liquid algaecide. (34)
For the cleaning of the unit cabinet use a soft cloth with
a mild detergent solution specific for Stainless Steel.

CLEANING OF WATER CIRCUIT

Special attention must be observed to the importance of
cleaning the water system.
To perform this cleaning, call the authorized Service
Agent at least twice per year. (36)
It is recommended that a propriety brand of ICE
MACHINE CLEANER is used to properly remove any
mineral sediment and scale build-up.

FAILURE ANALYSIS

(What to do before calling a service agent)
IF THE MACHINE DOES NOT WORK
Is the hand disconnect switch in ON position?
Blown fuses at fuse box
Electric plug out of its receptacle?
ICE MAKING CAPACITY REDUCED OR INEFFICIENT
Is the water shut-off valve open?
Is water and ambient temperature too high?
Are there heating sources close to the machine or is
there poor ventilation?
IF ICE CUBES ARE NOT PERFECT
Is the water supply sufficient enough?
Is the water inlet strainer clogged-up?
Are the water spray nozzle of the spray platform partial-
ly clogged-up?
