4. OPERATION

4.1 Priority management

Priority order is the following:
ALARM input > MIC input > CH1-CH10.

4.2 Audio Routing.

CH1~CH10 key: Channel audio source selection keys. When an audio source is selected, the LED
display flashes 3 times (1time/s). When flashing stops, audio of selected input will be broadcasted
though the output.
CH ALL key: Audio source selection key for all channels. When pressing the button the audio input
will loop in the next sequence: 0 (disabled)
1 (AUX1)
2 (AUX2)
3 (AUX3)
4 (AUX4)

(ALARM)
P (MIC).

4.3 Broadcast and Emergency paging

Broadcast: Using CH1~CH10 or CH ALL keys, user can choose MIC as the audio source (LED
displays P) for any one of the channels and for single or multi channel broadcast.
Emergency paging broadcast: Press the MIC button on the front panel for all channels emergency
paging broadcast (all the LED display P). Adjust the volume by twisting VOL knob. When the
broadcast finishes, press MIC again and all LEDs will restore to its previous status before the
broadcast.

4.4 Alarm inputs

Each output is associated to a contact input in SUB-D15 male connector. When this contact is
closed to GND, the audio signal present in Alarm Input will be broadcasted by the output and an A
will be displayed rapidly flashing.
Pins 1 to 10 correspond to outputs 1 to 10 respectively.
Pins 11 to 15 are GND.
