3. INSTALLATION

CAUTION
The appliance must be installed by specialist personnel.
If the appliance is not installed by specialist personnel, it may not work correctly.
If the appliance is not installed by specialist personnel, there is a risk of flooding the place of installation.

3.1 Connection kit

An installation kit can be supplied together with the appliance, consisting of tube and check valve.
It is essential to install a check valve on the appliance inlet. If the kit supplied is not used, all the materials
used must be suitable for use with food.

3.2 System pressure

Mains pressure > 180 kPa and < 450 kPa.
If the mains pressure may exceed 450 kPa (4.5 bar) during the day, a pressure reducer must be installed ups-
tream of the appliance.
3.3 Connecting to the water supply and switching on for the first time
CAUTION
Connect the appliance to the cold water supply!
Never connect the appliance to the hot water supply.
Install a system stopcock and an anti-flooding device (not supplied in the kit) on the connection point to the
water supply. Close the system stopcock.
Install a connection with a quick coupling for a tube with a diameter of 6 mm on the anti-flooding device.
Cut the connection tube into two pieces: one from the machine to the water connection point and the other one
measuring at least 20 cm.
Connect in sequence: tube connected to the water mains - check valve - 20 cm tube.
