Description
DRM-protected media (images,
video clips, audio files, and ring
tones) is copyrighted content with a
license that limits file sharing and
usage. DRM-protected content is
typically purchased and
downloaded from commercial Web
sites to your phone. A phone feature
that is "DRM-aware," such as
PhotoAlbum
and Video Player , will allow
you to view or play DRM content
exactly as you would unprotected
files. DRM content is protected in
one or both of the following ways:
• You may not be able to share a
DRM-protected file to a friend.
• You may be able to use the
content for a limited number of
plays or during a limited time
period. You will often choose
these limitations at the time of
purchase.
Notes:
• If you are using a feature that is
not DRM aware, you will see a
message that the media cannot
be accessed.
