STEP 6: (OPTIONAL) ATTACHING THE MOUNTING HOUSING
Position the mounting housing against the exterior wall of the house and use
the screws provided to position it in the dowels or on the wall.
Feed the wires that you want to connect to the Video Door Station through
the hole provided in the mounting housing.
Attach the mounting housing. The attachment of the mounting housing for
the Video Door Station series D20x is individually adapted to the assembly
location. If necessary, call a professional for help.

STEP 7: PREPARING THE WIRES
Remove about 5 mm of insulation material at the end of the wires that you
would like to connect to the Video Door Station.
STEP 8: CONNECTING THE WIRES
It is possible to connect the Video Door Station conveniently and safely via
the colour-coded cable harness on the reverse of the Video Door Station.
Please use appropriate crimp connectors or terminal strips to connect the
supplied cables with your wires. The accompanying crimp connectors are
weatherproof and are equipped with heat-shrink tubing which can be sealed
after assembly by, for example, carefully using a heat gun.
