MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before any work on the power tool itself, pull the
X
mains plug.
If the power tool should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing procedures,repair should be
carried out by an aftersales service center for Bosch
power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the 10-digit article number given on the
type plate of the power tool.
Cleaning
For safe and proper working, always keep the power
tool and its ventilation slots clean.
Under extreme operating conditions when working
metal, conductive dust can accumulate inside the
power tool. In such cases, blow out the ventilations
slots frequently and connect a ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI) on the line side.
For machines with retracting blade guard: The
retracting blade guard must always be able to move
freely and retract automatically. Therefore, always
keep the area around the retracting blade guard clean.
To reduce the risk of injury, turn power switch
"OFF" and remove plug from the power source
outlet before maintaining or lubricating
your grinder.
X Always keep tool and cord clean.
X Protect the tool from impact, shock and grease.
X Keep grinding wheels in a dry place where the
temperature is as constant as possible.
Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage
plastic parts. Including: gasoline, carbon
tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents,
ammonia and household detergents that
contain ammonia.
Avoiding use of these and other types of
cleaning agents minimizes the probability
of damage.
To avoid shock or fire hazard, if the power
cord is worn, cut or damaged in any way, have it
replaced immediately.
If the machine should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should
be carried out by an authorized customer services
center for SKIL Power Tools.
LUBRICATION
All of the BALL BEARINGS are packed with grease at
the factory. They require no further lubrication.
ACCESSORIES
Use only recommended accessories. Follow
instructions that accompany accessories. Use of
improper accessories may cause hazards.
GUARANTEE
We guarantee SKIL appliances in accordance with
statutory/countryspecific regulations (proof of purchase
by invoice or delivery note).
Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, overload
or improper handling will be excluded from
the guarantee.
In case of complaint please send the machine,
undismantled, to your dealer or the customer services
center for SKIL Power Tools.
Warning! Freight and insurance costs are charged to
the client, even for warranty claims.
ENVIRONMENT
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste.
The machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of electric tools, accessories and
packaging together with household waste material.
The plastic components are labeled for
categorized recycling.
DISPOSAL
Cut off saw, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmentfriendly recycling.
