REFERENCE: FA 20 209 00
Materials: STAINLESS STEEL 316
Fastenings: STAINLESS STEEL (316 A4-70)
Resistance > 23 kN
Weight: 1.300 kg
Minimum diameter of ladder rung: 18 mm
Maximum diameter of ladder rung: 36 mm
Minimum distance between 2 ladder rungs: 250 mm
Maximum distance between 2 ladder rungs: 400 mm
Tools needed:
Two 17 mm ring spanners or open pipe wrenches OR 2 adjustable spanners.
Installation:
Ensure that the structure to which you want to attach the anchorage is able to support the load required: minimum 15 kN.
Begin to attach the non-adjustable bracket to a bar so that it is at the top of the anchorage point. Then fix the lower bracket in the oblong hole
allowing the height of the next bar to be adjusted.
Tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
TIGHTENING TORQUES: 30 N.m Caution! Excessive tightening may distort the plates. The fastenings and any accessories supplied are designed to suit your
situation; if in doubt contact us!
When the installation is completed, check that the top point is aligned with any intermediate attachment points and the bottom point.
REFERENCE: FA 20 210 19
Materials: Galvanized steel
Fastenings: STAINLESS STEEL (316 A4-70)
Resistance > 16 kN
Weight: 7.670 kg
Minimum diameter of ladder rung: 18 mm
Maximum diameter of ladder rung: 44.5 mm
Tools needed:
Two 13 mm ring spanners or open pipe wrenches OR 2 adjustable spanners.
Installation:
Ensure that the structure is able to support the load required: minimum 15 kN.
Make sure you respect the position of each component in relation to the ladder as shown in the drawing.
The system should be installed as close as possible to a ladder stile.
Start attaching the bracket located at the lower end of the arm on a bar. Then fasten the two brackets with the counter
plates on the next two upper bars. Caution: you must complete all three attachments.
This top anchorage point is designed to withstand the fall of a person; it must be situated above the user and the strength of the structure to which it is attached must be
at least 15 kN at the anchorage point in the direction in which the force is likely to be applied when in use.
KRATOS SAFETY top anchorage points have been tested and comply with the requirements of the EN 795 class A standard: 2012.
Remember that the top anchorage and its attachment play a crucial role in the event of a fall; special attention must be given to it.

ENERGY ABSORBER (optional):
REFERENCE: FA 20 206 00
Materials: STAINLESS STEEL 316
Fastenings: STAINLESS STEEL (316 A4-70)
Triggering threshold: 2.0 kN
Maximum stroke: 110 mm
Resistance > 23 kN
Weight: 1.350 kg
The KRATOS SAFETY energy absorber is designed to absorb the energy produced by the fall of a person on the anchor line. The energy absorber must be fitted on the
top anchorage point.
Inclusion of the absorber in the system is:
-mandatory, if the slider is not fitted with an absorber, part no: FA 20 200 01
-optional, if the slider is fitted with an absorber, part no: FA 20 200 00
It is supplied ready to be installed as it is factory set with a preload of 80 to 100 daN. It is fitted with fall indicators (a red ring at the bottom – if activated). For safety
reasons, never use a system if the fall indicator has been activated.
Tools needed:
Two 19mm spanners or 2 adjustable spanners.
Installation:
Position the energy absorber on the top point,
The absorber should be installed vertically, with the rotating part at the bottom to allow the cable to rotate freely over the entire length of the
installation.
Attach the energy absorber using the fastenings supplied.
Tighten the nut without over-tightening, making sure that at least 2 threads are visible on the screw after tightening.
The other end of the absorber (swivel part) should be fitted to the support.
The connection between the top anchorage point and the absorber plays a key role in the event of a fall; pay particular attention to it.
