FRAME ASSEMBLY
Steps 1 and 2 refer to previous steps based on the appropriate mounting method
CAUTION - Make sure the OIP Upright is supported while being mounted to the floor.
1. Position one upright onto the anchors/threaded rod with the open side facing the opposite upright and
loosely secure with appropriate hardware based on concrete or raised floor mounting (figure 3 or 4 – item 7)
2. Position the second upright (item 7) onto the anchors/threaded rod with the open side facing the opposite
upright and loosely secure with appropriate hardware based on concrete or raised floor mounting
3. Position the cross member on the top of the upright units aligning holes in the cross member and upright
(figure 5 – item 8)
4. Position the channel attachment bracket (figure 6 – item 2),on the appropriate side of the cross member
and upright unit
5. Loosely secure bracket(s) and cross member with the ½"x 13 bolts, lock washers and flat washers
(figure 6 – items 9, 10 and 11)
6. Position the steel channels (figure 6 – item 12), to the appropriate attachment bracket and loosely secure
each bracket, with a minimum of two (2) sets per attachment bracket, of the channel manufacturer approved
mounting hardware
7. Using a square, align the upright tubes, top cross member angles, and base angles to square the OIP
assembly
8. Torque all floor mounting hardware to each manufacturers recommended value
9. Tighten all of the cross member to upright bolts to 25 foot pounds of torque
