Installation of the Leviton OIP system requires the following tools and mounting hardware:
The following tools are recommended for assembly and installation:
1. 3/4" box wrench
2. 3/4" socket
3. 1/2" torque wrench
4. Carpenter's Square (18" x 24" recommended)
5. Level
6. 5/8" Masonry Drill Bit
7. 5/8" Hardened Steel Drill Bit
8. Hammer Drill
The following materials are required for assembly and installation:

LOAD CAPACITY

OIP loading: Maximum mounted equipment weight bearing upon 2 (two) 102"H x 42"W OIPs joined by
2 (two) sections of 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" 12 gauge solid steel channel shall not exceed 400 lbs. when supports are
installed 8 ft. apart. Consult the factory for other configurations and loading options.
Above loads include the weight of the channel. This weight needs to be subtracted to arrive at the net allowable
load the frame will support. Maximum allowable load weight should be uniformly distributed.
Consult Leviton Network Solution's Application Engineering Department for load rating calculation assistance.
OIP system is designed to be installed as a minimum of two (2) unit pairs. They have been tested for load
capacity in conjunction with overhead 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" 12 gauge solid steel channel bolted to the structure via
brackets. Pathway capacity and load should be based upon the manufacturer's recommendations and
maximums.
