IMPORTANT: The instruction manual you are holding includes essential information on the safety measures to be implemented
for installation and start-up. Therefore, the installer as well as the user must read the instructions before beginning installation
and start-up.
Keep this manual for future reference.
To achieve optimum performance of the DMX 2.11 Power Supply, follow the instructions provided below:
1. CHECK THE CONTENTS OF THE PACK:
The contents of the box is:
• Fitters should be sufficiently qualified to perform this type of work.
• Avoid contact with electrical voltage.
• Current regulations regarding the prevention of accidents should be followed.
• In this respect, standards IEC 364-7-702: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS IN BUILDINGS, SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS,
SWIMMING POOLS, should be followed.
• When performing maintenance operations, ensure that the DMX 2.11 Power Supply is disconnected from the mains.
• Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for the assembly, installation, start-up, manipulation or
incorporation of any electrical components that have not been done or manufactured on their premises.
2. GENERAL FEATURES
This product is exclusively designed to be used with RGB DMX Mini LED Projectors by ASTRALPOOL. The manufacturer is not liable for possible
damage or defects if products other than ASTRALPOOL products are used.
If the Power Supply does not receive DMX signal the projectors will remain off.
This is an electrical apparatus corresponding to class II, fed at 230V; 50Hz
3. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION DIAGRAM
Make sure that when installing the DMX Power Supply it is protected from corrosive environments.
The DMX 2.11 Power Supply is connected to mains electricity of
230V~AC by means of terminals 29, 31 and 33.
The Power Supply can control up to a maximum of 9 RGB DMX Mini Led
Projectors of 4W.
For RGB DMX Quadraled projectors, depending of the model, can be
connected a maximum of:
- 9 units of 1 spotlight (code 52151)
- 4 units of 2 spotlights (code 52152)
- 3 units of 3 spotlights (code 52153)
- 2 units of 4 spotlights (code 52154)

In installations with long lengths of power lines, it is recommended to install the Power Supplies as near of the projectors as possible (with a
longer 230V~AC line).
4. OPERATION
The Power Supply receives orders from the DMX controller (for example Astral DMX, 41329, or Astral DMX Pro, 41330 controllers) of the system
by means of the DMX bus, and operates on the projectors connected. While the DMX signal is not received from the controllers, the projectors
will remain off.
This Power Supply has been designed for use only with protocol DMX and with controllable elements via DMX of AstralPool of 24V
This DMX Power Supply allows the connection of up to a maximum of 9 RGB DMX Mini LEDs projectors with independent channels. This mains
lead is responsible for adapting the input of 230V~AC to 24V
matter to which of them the projectors are connected.
3 DMX channels can be controlled through this DMX Power Supply, corresponding to red, green and blue of each one of the projectors
connected to it. In this way, it is possible to achieve 256 different levels for each colour. By mixing these three colours, over 16 million colours
can be obtained.
It is necessary that each power supply has an assigned address that will determine the channels it can control (see Assignment of DMX address).
