For best results:
• Pre-cut solid ingredients before processing them (use cooked ingredients
when you blend a soup).
• When blending milk, please note that it will froth (max. 750 ml).
• Cut the fruits for milk-shakes into pieces and process them before adding
liquid.
• Put the food to be processed into the jug.
• Place the lid firmly on the jug and insert the measuring cup into the lid
opening.
• Turn the power base on.
• To add liquids during processing, remove the measuring cup from the lid
and pour liquids through the opening in the lid.
• When preparing mayonnaise, oil can be added through the drip hole in the
measuring cup.

After use, switch off and unplug to the power base. Remove the blender jug
by turning it anti-clockwise. To remove the blade unit for cleaning purposes,
first turn the jug upside down, then unscrew the blade unit clockwise.
Pre-cleaning of assembled jug
After emptying the jug, fill it with water. Place it on the power base and turn
the switch to the «P» setting several times. Empty the jug and rinse clean.
III Using the juicer attachment
Caution
Before use, always check the sieve. Do not touch the shredding blades.
Do not reach into the filling shaft when the appliance is switched on. Always
use the pusher to feed in food.
Wait until the sieve has stopped rotating before you remove the lid.
Assembly
• Place the juice attachment onto the juicer coupling.
• Place both attachments/units onto the motor base (align arrows). Then
turn the juicer unit clockwise until it securely locks onto the motor base.
• Attach the sieve and press it down, so that is locks onto the juicer
coupling.
• Attach the lid and lock it by inserting the lateral clamps into the lid lugs
and firmly pushing the lower ends so that they snap into place.
• Place a jug underneath the juice spout.
Extracting juice
• Fill fruits/vegetables into the filling shaft.
• Turn the motor switch to position «I». You do not need to select a speed;
the appliance is working with a constant speed.
• Press slightly with the pusher and add more fruits or vegetables while the
motor is running.
• From time to time, turn off and unplug the appliance to empty pulp from
the juicer bowl.

After use, switch off and unplug. Open the clamps, lift off the lid and remove
the pulp container including sieve and turn the juicer attachment anti-
clockwise to remove it from the power base.
Pre-clean the sieve and the juicer bowl with the brush (15f) before placing
them in the dishwasher.

IV Cleaning
Clean the motor block (1), the kneading attachment (8) and the juicer base
with coupling (15a) with a damp cloth only.
All accessories/tool/bowls are dishwasher safe (see cleaning table IV).
When processing foods with high pigment content (e.g., carrots), the
accessories may become discoloured. Wipe these parts with vegetable oil
before dishwashing.

• The product is used and maintained in accordance with the User

• The appliance has not been altered in any way or subjected to misuse or
repair by a person other than an authorised service agent for Braun
Household.
• No rights are given under this guarantee to a person acquiring the
appliance second hand or for commercial or communal use.
• Any repaired or replaced appliance will be guaranteed on these terms for
the unexpired portion of the guarantee.
• The need for repair has not been caused by insufficient aftercare or
cleaning: or damage caused by the chemical or electrochemical effects
of water.
Under no circumstances shall the application of this guarantee give rise to
the complete replacement of the appliance or entitle the consumer to
damages.
