Electrical connection

Danger of death caused by electric shock! Do
DANGER
not operate the device when surrounded with water.
Use the device only under the following conditions:
- The device shall only be connected into power inputs and
protected plugs installed by a professional. It shall also be
grounded and inspected.
Water inlet and outlet (suction)
WARNING
Do not operate the device with any water inside. Do not
start the device when the water supply is totally closed.
Fill the device up with water after each new connection or
if there was water lost or air in the system. Extended
operation without filling-up with water (getting out of water
with no supervision) may destroy the device.
1. Unscrew and remove the flush cap.
2. Fill-up with water completely.
3. Set back the flush cap. Verify the seal is properly set.
4. To shorten the water inlet also fill the suction line up.
5. Open the pressure line (open the male side or the nozzle)
so that air can escape during the water input.
6. Connect the device.
7. When water flows constantly shut off the device.
NOTE Install a check valve between the pump and the
suction line so that the water column is aligned with the
suction line.
We recommend using a suction filter to gain better suction.
When water suction is coming from a water tank set higher
than the device, flushing is automatic (flushing operation
requires a couple of minutes).
When water suction is coming from a cistern, it is necessary
to completely flush the supply piping and the device body
as explained in the previous paragraph.
It can also be necessary to fill-up the device body a couple
of times regarding the length and diameter in the supply
pipeline. If the device is not used for a long period of time
it will be necessary to repeat all the operations described
here before starting the device.
The device and the line shall be both connected and full.
WARNING

When the household water line is installed directly to the
distribution network is important to take note that the water
pressure in that network will be added to the pump pressure.
Total pressure shall not exceed 0,59 MPa (87 PSI).

Damage to the device!
Do not let the device to get dry. There shall

The device tank includes a factory built-in rubber

bellows, air pressure (pre-filling pressure). This is to remove
small water amount without starting the device.
Double-check pressure before operating the device and
increase it if necessary (increasing the preliminary filling-up
pressure). Do not set the device directly under the sunrays
because pressure is increased in excess under some
circumstances.
1. Connect the plug.
2. Open the pressure line (open the male or the water
nozzle).
3. Double-check if water is flowing.
When the motor does not start or the pump has no
pressure; or any other type of problem occurs, turn off the
device and try to solve the problem (Troubleshooting).
The device has a built-in pressure switch. It is turned ON
if pressure in the device tank is below the starting pressure
due to lack of water.
The pressure switch in the devices turns OFF when gets to
the closing pressure.
The pressure switch is programed in the factory
NOTE
to correct the starting and closing pressure.
Only qualified personnel may open and install

the pressure switch. Disconnect the device from the power
source before opening the pressure switch.
