Cleaning

Clean the OptimAir using a dry or damp cloth. Cleaning must not be carried out in
potentially explosive atmospheres.
4.5.

Charging the battery pack

Attention!
Never charge the battery in an Ex area.
Attention!
The batteries may only be charged with the MSA charger OptimAir
3000EX standard battery charger (OptiCharge EX). The use of other
chargers can lead to damage to the battery or to the instrument itself.
Charge the batteries with the OptimAir 3000EX standard battery charger
(OptiCharge EX). Observe the operating manual of the battery charger.
Avoid completely discharging the battery pack since this can cause
capacity losses in the battery.

Changing the battery pack

Attention!
Never remove the battery from the blower in a potentially explosive
atmosphere.
Never charge the battery or use the charger in a potentially explosive
atmosphere.
(1) Push the "Press" button and remove the battery
(2) Insert a new battery ( section 3.2)
