The Freedom Par Quad-4 IP works with a DMX controller. Information about
configuring Freedom™ Par Quad-4 IP for DMX operation is in the User Manual,
which is available from the Chauvet website
manuals-literature/. Information about DMX is in the Chauvet DMX Primer,
which is available from the Chauvet website http://www.chauvetlighting.com/.
The Freedom Par Quad-4 IP can be operated in wireless D-Fi™ mode. Use the D-
Fi™ AUTO Sync/Clear Button to automatically sync with other D-Fi™
products to either transmit or receive. You must select to receive or transmit
manually via the menu map. For more information about configuring this product
to transmit or receive in wireless D-Fi™ mode, download instructions for the
Freedom Par Quad-4 IP User Manual from the Chauvet website.
To ensure full access to all channels in each DMX mode, the highest
recommended DMX address is 503.
The Freedom Par Quad-4 IP works in Master/Slave mode using wireless
D-Fi™. Information about configuring Freedom Par Quad-4 IP for Master/Slave
operation is in the User Manual, which is available from the Chauvet website.
You can wirelessly sync an unlimited amount of receivers to one transmitter.
To ensure strong signals, the units should be elevated 5 feet or higher off the
ground or remain in an unobstructed line of sight of each other.
For the best results, add individual receivers using Manual mode to ensure
you can select the same channel for the additional products.
