CHANGE THE COWLING SEAL
FIGURE 4.1
Overtime, the cowling seal may need to be
replaced to keep a tight seal. To remove the
old seal, open the latch and pull out the old
seal.
CHANGING THE BATTERY
Open the latch and then the unit. Remove the
battery from the battery clips.
Insert the new seal into the groove, matching
up the corners and edges so that it is in the
correct position. Close the unit and latch.

Insert the new or recharged battery into
the clips, being sure the positive end of the
battery is in the positive side battery clip.
Close the unit and the latch.
