Correcting the switching point:
8. Repeat the following steps until the upper and lower switching vacuums have
been set:
– first set the lower switching vacuum with adjusting screw 7
– then set the upper switching vacuum with adjusting bolt 5.
In this way, you can specify step-by-step the switching point and the hystere-
sis.
9. Replace and fasten the protective cap 6.
Functional test:

Apply AC or DC current to the VPEV-... (maximum voltage Vb = 48 V AC/DC).
6 Operation
Please note
S Please note that fluctuations in the medium temperature will have a minor
effect on the switching point.
At medium temperatures below 1 °C:
Please note
S Avoid the dew point being reached.
The diaphragm will freeze up and become stiff at temperatures below the
dew point. This will affect the switching values set on the vacuum switch.
The dew point can be reduced considerably by the application of dried com-
pressed air.
