Construction reference line
3.1 Basic Alignment
The load line should fall through the center of the front upper axis through
the centre of the distal joint pyramid. Remove the lateral protection cover for
this task! For more stance safety, the proximal connection can be shifted into
a more anterior position.

For a safe construction, it is helpful to
consider the stump angle for the
position of the socket adapter. In order
to ease the determination of the
position of the lamination anchor or
the socket adapter, mark the plumb
lines of frontal and sagittal planes
during plaster casting and fitting of
the test socket; starting from the hip
joint rotation point (Trochanter Major).
