The "b170" wheels from rie:sel design are designed for use on oad bicycles or cyclocross bicycles The scope
of usage ranges from the use on paved roads to gravel roads, forest trails and easy trails The maximum rider
weight limit is 100 kg including clothing and possible baggage (for example backpack)
The wheels are to be used solely in accordance with the intended use Beyond that, the

Safety provisions
Failure to comply with the installation instructions and usage instructions can result in

fatal injuries! The following provisions are a prerequisite for a safe journey These ensure
proper operation of the components
– Installation and maintenance of the wheels requires basic knowledge in dealing with bicycles In the case of
uncertainty, please contact your dealer or rie:sel design directly
– The wheels must be compatible with other related components of the bicycle Example: tyres, tubes, dropouts
on the frame, etc
– Do not make any modifications or changes to the wheels
– The wheels may only be used according to their intended use
– Check before each trip that the wheels are properly attached
– Check wheels before and after the journey for damages
– Check for spoke tension, concentricity and wear regularly
– If damages are present, the wheels must not be used If in doubt, please contact your dealer or rie:sel design

Black Prince brake pads may be used on the wheels for rim brakes
– Do not use any used brake pads
– Durable grinding brakes lead to overheating of wheels and can lead to failure of tyres, tubes or rims
– Always use both brakes briefly and powerfully at the same time at intervals Thus, the development of high
temperatures can be avoided
– Compared to aluminium rims, carbon rims have a different braking response During the first use of the
wheels, ride gently and carefully in order to get familiarised with the braking characteristics of the carbon
rims
Prevention of material damage to the components:

– Only use tyre levers made of plastic Other materials can damage the rim, tyre or tube
– The maximum tyre pressure on the rim and the tyre must not be exceeded
– Use only tubes with Presta valve
– Pre-specified tyre dimensions may not be exceeded or fallen short of
