The device has two expansion connectors, called J4 and J5, that can be used to
connect the following optional boards:

• CL board for courtesy light

• SL2 board for beacon ET1 (24 V)

• AP board for pedestrian opening

• SSI board for safety sensor
• UP board (dead man)
6.1 CL BOARD FOR COURTESY LIGHT
Functioning
This board is used to command a light up to 100 W with a power of 230 V. Each
time the opening pushbutton is pressed, this light comes ON and remains ON for
the entire opening cycle and for a further 2 and a half minutes. It is also possible to
connect more than one light in parallel, provided that the overall wattage does not
exceed 100 W.
Connection method
1. Turn OFF the power supply to the device
2. Fit the board onto connector J4 or J5 matching up the pins
3. Connect the terminal board to two terminals on the CL board, so that the
power supply to the light or lights can be interrupted.
6.2 SL2 BOARD FOR BEACON ET1 (24 V)
Functioning
This board makes it possible to command the beacon ET1 with the alternate flashing
of the two lights, each with a maximum of 21 W. This board can be used to command
preflashing during closing or opening depending on the functioning logic selected.
The preflashing lasts approximately 3 sec.
Connection method
1. Turn OFF the power supply to the device
2. Fit the board onto connector J4 or J5 matching up the pins
3. The terminal board on board SL2 has three terminals: connect the common
light lead (blue lead) to the central terminal and the return leads from the lights
to the other two.
6.3 AP BOARD FOR PEDESTRIAN OPENING
Functioning
This board makes it possible to command gate opening only for pedestrian passage.
When the opening pushbutton connected to this board is pressed, the sliding gate
opens by 0.90 to 1.80 metres.
Connection method
1. Make sure that the 230 V power supply is turned OFF
2. Make the connections as indicated in the figure below.
3. Connect an opening pushbutton with a N.O. contact between terminals 2 and
3 on the AP board
4. Adjust the opening space with the potentiometer on the AP board.

6.4 SAFETY SENSOR SS1 BOARD

Functioning
This board provides additional safety guarantees during the movement of the sliding
gate. During the opening and the closing phases, any obstacle that interferes with
normal movement of the gate is detected by the sensor. This sensor stops the gate
immediately or inverts the movement, depending on the functioning logic selected.
Connection method
Detailed instructions are provided in the installation kit supplied with the sensor.
