Tighten the fastening screws for diagonal
S
fastening at first only slightly
(see Fig. 7: Q).
This enables the FDG−... to be aligned
correctly before further fitting is under
taken.
Position the FDG−... parallel to the driven
S
linear axis.
If you are using the FDG−... in conjunction with a drive axis type DGE−.. or
DGP(L)−...:
Make sure that the slide surfaces of both
S
axes lie at the same height within the
complete positioning stroke.
Place the diagonal connection and the
S
work load on the slides of the FDG−... and
the drive axis so that:
The tilting torque of force F remains
parallel to the cylinder axis and dis
tance d remains small.
Force F here contains the inertial force
F = m ⋅ a, force due to weight and any
external force.
Loadings do not exceed the max. per
mitted values.
In the case of guide axes with several slides
Compare the distance between the two
S
slides with the minimum distance as
shown in the adjacent diagram.
