Special safety instructions

1.
Prior to use, check tool for damaged or faulty parts or other conditions that will degrade the operation of the tool.
Never use the tool when it is damaged or incorrectly adjusted. Any damaged safety features, starter lever or
other faulty parts are to be repaired or replaced by an authorised service engineer, provided there are no other
instructions in this manual. Never use tool with faulty starter lever.

Use screw clamps or a vice to secure the workpieces to be machined. Always use both hands to operate the
tool.

Never operate compressed air tool with an operating pressure of more than 75 psi (5.2 bar) flow pressure at the
compressed connection to the tool. This tool is not speed-regulated. The speed will increase with an increase in
the air pressure above 75 psi (5.2 bar). The operating pressure for this tool must be regulated within the operating
range specified by a reliable automatic compressed air regulator (11 mm compressed air regulator article number
ZU-074), see section 5, Compressed air supply.
Attention!
Please use a hose burst safety valve. It protects personnel and workplace from damages which may occur
when the compressed air system or hose bursts!

Check compressed air at regular intervals. To ensure the compressed air is clean and oiled, if necessary integrate
a service unit into the compressed air line.
7.
Ensure that the belts do not get damaged when putting the tool down on a work bench.
8.
If the tool is not in use, disconnect from the compressed air supply and store in a suitable place to prevent unin-
tentional or unauthorised use in the absence of an authorised individual.

Always hold the tool on the tool body during operation.
