Cleaning

Do not use cleaning agents or sol-
vents. Chemical substances may
attack plastic parts of the equip-
ment. Never clean the equipment
under running water.
Clean the equipment thoroughly after
each use.
Clean the ventilation openings (
and the surface of the equipment with
a brush or cloth.

Changing the grinding disc

(Fig.3)
Ensure that the rotation speed
stated on the grinding disc is the
same or higher than the nominal
rotation speed of the device.
Ensure that the disc dimensions
match those of the device.
Switch off the equipment and dis-
connect from the mains.
Allow the equipment to cool.
Use the tools included in delivery
to change the grinding disc (see
Fig. 1 nos. 23 + 24 + 25).

Unscrew the grinder housing. To do
this, remove the fixing bolt, washer
and nut (19).

To remove the transparent cover
(8), unloose the two fixing bolts with
washers (6).

Unscrew the grinding disc cover (5)
by unloosening the fixing bolt (4).

Insert the lock bolt (23) into the drill-
hole (18) on the underside of the
housing in order to lock the spindle.

Unloosen the hex nut (26) and re-
move the nut, external flange (27)

and grinding disc (7).

Fix the new grinding disc, the cover,
the transparent cover and the grinder
housing in the reverse order.
7.
Adjust the transparent cover (see
chapter „Initial start-up").

Trial run: Always carry out a trial run
of at least 30 seconds duration with-
out load before carrying out your first
grinding procedure and after every

grinding disc replacement. Switch the
device off immediately if the disc is
not rotating smoothly, if considerable
vibration occurs or if you hear abnor-
mal noises.

Information on replacement:
Only use grinding discs in perfect
working order. If the grinding disc has
been worn down so much that the
transparent cover can no longer be re-
adjusted, you will have to replace the
grinding disc.
Never re-drill a locating hole which is
too small to make it larger.
Never use separate bushings or
adapters in order to make grinding
