14. Gas piping connection
The refrigeration systems are tested at a pressure of 8 bar and are equipped with outlet pipes
(Fig. 7)
DANGER! Substances or material under pressure. Explosion. Discharge the
refrigeration system through the dedicated valves.
Procedure:
Step
1
discharge the refrigeration system, bring the pressure to atmospheric pressure.
2
clean the inner parts carefully
insert additional vibration dampers and shit-off valves between the refrigeration
2
system and the pipes of the system
weld the pipes carefully under modified atmosphere in compliance with effective
3
regulations
4
carry out the pressure test on the lines
15. Start-up
DANGER! Live parts. Electrocution.
REMOVE THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY BEFORE ANY OPERATION!
15.1. System depressurisation
DO NOT use the compressors of the refrigeration system to depressurise the system

the electrical power supply lines should be suitable to withstand the
power consumption of the refrigeration system
check that the power line:
compliance with the regulations in force.
for the power supply lines measuring more than 4-5 m, increase the
section of the cables appropriately.
The replacement of the damaged power cord is reserved to the
manufacturer or a body authorized by the same.
protect the upstream refrigeration systems by means of automatic
omnipolar circuit breakers with suitable characteristics, that must also act
as master cut-off switches of the line.
in case of EMERGENCY
DANGER! Live parts. Short circuit Electrocution
The automatic magneto-thermal switches must be such that they do
not open the circuit on the neutral, without simultaneously opening
on the phases and, in any case, must allow complete disconnection
in conditions of category III overvoltage.
refer to the circuit diagrams of the complete machinery
check that the data specified on the dataplate match the data of the
electrical system to which the refrigeration system will be connected
check that power supply voltage is the one reported on the rating plate.
remove all metallic objects worn: rings, watches, bracelets, earrings, etc.
respect the color of the cables and the order of phases
proceed with wiring
check the activation value of the differential switch to ensure selectivity
