SAFETY & INSTRUC-
TION INFORMATION
Deuter Kid Comfort child carriers are TÜV SÜD
tested and carry the GS safety certificate. For
your child's safety, please consider the follow-
CAUTION – Not suitable for children/babies who cannot sit independently.
The child must be able to sit up on their own (from around the ninth month
– with individual variations).
The maximum load capacity for the child carrier is 24 kg
(child 22 kg + load 2 kg).
Always carry your child strapped in and always use the foot loops. Ensure the
safety harness is adjusted correctly and fits the child (see step 3).
CAUTION – Never leave the child unattended in the carrier! Do not put the
child carrier down on a raised surface or on steep ground with the child seat-
ed inside. Take the child out of the carrier during rest breaks.
Remaining seated for longer periods can reduce the circulation to your
child's legs. Therefore, use the Kid Comfort foot loops and take regular
breaks to allow the child to get out and stretch its legs.
CAUTION – The child's head is higher than the bearer's head. Watch out for
low branches, door frames and similar obstacles.
