1-1.8 SCRAPPING THE MACHINE

The machine is composed of differents parts. Dismantle it and prepare the wastes for disposal in accordance to
their type.
Instructions to correctly dispose of the machine (mod. EH)
(applicable to the countries belonging to the European Community as well as to those countries using the waste
separation system)
Information for users
Implementation of EC/2002/95/, EC/2002/96 and EC/2003/108 regulations regarding reduction of the use of
dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as waste disposal.
The symbol of the refuse container with a cross on it on the machine indicates that at the end of the equipment's
useful life it must be disposed of separately from other waste.
The user must therefore:
- deliver the equipment which has reached the end of its life to the appropriate centers which collect and separate
electronic and electro-technical waste, or
- if the manufacturer organizes and manages the collection of waste to be separated, then contact the
manufacturer and follow his system to collect and separate equipment which has reached the end of its life,
or
- return the equipment to the dealer when purchasing a new similar equipment.
Adequate waste disposal of equipment no longer being used and the consequent recycling, treatment and
environment compatible disposal avoids possible negative effects on the environment and on health, and favors
reutilization and/or recycling of the materials making up the equipment.
Abusive product disposal by the user results in the financial penalties contemplated by current regulations.
