INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY INFORMATION
WEBER drawbar connection
These tools are required for assembly:
1 open-ended spanner and/or ring spanner with spanner
size 8 mm, 1 Allen key 4mm
Preferred box column drill, drill with diameter 6.5 mm,
metal saw
Please note:
The Thule drawbar must be shortened by 8- to 12 cm
depending on the coupling.
According to DIN 15918, the trailer must not be hung
off-centre above 10 cm.
Assembly of the Weber connectors
1. First remove the previous clutch part.
2. Now shorten the Thule drawbar by 8-12 cm depen-
ding on the clutch. Adjust the drawbar individually
to your bike by holding the drawbar with the WEBER
connection on your bike with pre-assembled clutch. To
shorten, use a metal saw.
Do not shorten too much, because the manoeuv-
rability in right bends is impaired!

This is drilled directly with the attached
drawbar connection with a 6.5 mm drill.

3. The WEBER drawbar connec-
tion is pushed over the Thule
drawbar up to the stop.
If it is very tight to push
over, it may be necessary
to make the drawbar tube
slidable by using grease/grea-
se spray before attaching the
drawbar connection.

mounted (as is usual with the other
WEBER drawbar connections), therefore
please clean the drawbar connection and
the drawbar tube regularly. This is the only

7. Glue the sticker visibly behind the
connector on the drawbar.
